Position’s Contributions to Work Group
Conducting analysis to support category strategy development and execution, support supplier relationship management and the achievement of cost/performance targets. Buyer needs to lead Indirect Manufacturing Equipment categories/supplier management for sub-categories and suppliers assigned to them.

Conduct quantitative analysis using Excel.
Develop category strategies.
Ensure supplier scorecards are up to date and maintain accurate and timely information on the supplier
Support negotiations with suppliers and establish TCO (Total cost of Ownership) approach across Indirect capital equipment categories.
Establish a knowledge of stakeholder management processes and ensure engagement with stakeholders throughout the process (both during the gate reviews and outside)
Managing Life cycle management for equipment’s which includes spares and service strategy.
Supporting Capital projects and agreement execution in collaboration with legal.
Interaction with Team
Projects are team-based. Will need to collaborate with facility on projects

Potential facility walkthrough/visits to support capital projects. PPE will be provided if required.
Education & Experience Required
Years of experience: 2-4 years of experience required.
