Medication Management Solution Architect / Delivery Consultant Position Summary The Medication Management Solution Architect / Delivery Consultant is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, integration, testing, and deployment of enterprise medication-management solutions within a healthcare environment. This role serves as a subject-matter expert for the end-to-end medication-management workflow, including: Provider Order Entry -> Pharmacy Verification -> Dispensing -> Medication Administration -> Documentation -> Billing/Charge Capture The successful candidate must have hands-on experience implementing both an Orders/CPOE solution and a Pharmacy Information System within a hospital or healthcare environment. Experience with Netsmart RxConnect and myAvatar NX is preferred. This individual will work closely with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, clinical leaders, informatics teams, integration teams, application analysts, project managers, and client executives to translate clinical and operational requirements into a safe, efficient, and scalable medication-management solution.
Lead the design of end-to-end medication-management workflows across clinical, pharmacy, nursing, and technical applications.
Facilitate workflow-design sessions with pharmacists, physicians, nurses, informatics staff, and operational leaders.
Assess current-state medication workflows and develop optimized future-state workflows.
Translate clinical requirements into system configuration and technical requirements.
Ensure workflows support the complete medication lifecycle from order entry through administration.
Identify workflow gaps, integration dependencies, patient-safety risks, and operational impacts.
Develop solution recommendations that balance clinical requirements, application capabilities, patient safety, maintainability, and organizational standards.
Support enterprise standardization across multiple hospitals, facilities, or programs.
Provide architecture leadership for decisions that cross Orders, Pharmacy, eMAR, EHR, integration, and ancillary systems.
