ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST – OCM / COMMUNICATIONS

Mossville / Peoria, IL | 100% Onsite | 12-Month Contract

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to support change initiatives across a large, matrixed organization.

This role will partner with internal business units and leadership to develop and execute change-management strategies for organizational changes, process improvements, system implementations, strategy rollouts, and behavioral or cultural changes.

The successful candidate will create and drive change plans, develop communications and change-management materials, facilitate working sessions, conduct change-impact and needs assessments, and help stakeholders successfully adopt new processes and ways of working.

This position requires an excellent communicator who can influence and lead without formal authority and who is comfortable working directly with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute organizational change-management plans.
• Conduct needs analyses and change-impact assessments.
• Determine effective approaches for implementing organizational, process,
  system, behavioral, and cultural changes.
• Partner with internal clients to understand upcoming changes and business needs.
• Provide change-management consultation, planning, facilitation, and
  recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Influence stakeholders and leadership to support adoption of change initiatives.
• Lead without formal authority across a matrixed organization.
• Develop communications and other materials supporting change rollouts.
• Write, review, and edit internal communications.
• Ensure consistent messaging across communication channels.
• Create presentation and change materials using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Facilitate working-team meetings and workshops.
• Coordinate activities and drive action items through completion.
• Ensure timely and consistent execution of change implementation plans.
• Conduct interviews and research to understand projects and develop
  effective rollout communications.
• Use surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather stakeholder perspectives.
• Measure change adoption and identify areas requiring additional support.
• Present change-management work and recommendations to management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients.
• Manage assigned projects independently after initial onboarding and mentoring.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Organizational Change Management,
  transformation leadership, strategic communications, or a closely related area.
• Associate degree or higher required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Master's degree candidates may be considered with 2–3 years of experience.
• Knowledge and practical application of organizational change-management principles.
• Experience developing and executing change plans.
• Experience supporting people, process, system, organizational, or cultural change.
• Strong internal or strategic communications experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience writing, editing, and designing change-related communications.
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience facilitating meetings and/or workshops.
• Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without formal authority.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong presentation skills.

• Experience influencing senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Experience developing stakeholder adoption strategies.
• Experience measuring change adoption using surveys, interviews, or focus groups.
• Strong workshop-facilitation experience.
• Ability to make writing and presentation/design edits in real time while
  facilitating virtual meetings or sharing a screen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Location: Mossville / Peoria, IL
• Work Arrangement: 100% onsite, five days per week
• Typical Schedule: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with some flexibility in start/end times
• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Travel: Up to 25%, primarily to Dallas, TX

INTERVIEW PROCESS

Two interview rounds are planned:

• First round: 15-minute manager screen to review resume and background.
• Second round: 55-minute panel interview with three members of the team.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Must currently reside within commuting distance of Mossville/Peoria, IL.
• Must be able to work onsite five days per week.
• Must be applying directly on your own behalf.
• Must be able to work directly on our W-2.
