POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Project Coordinator with strong Microsoft Project experience to support technical project leads in a fast-paced project environment.

This role is responsible for maintaining detailed Microsoft Project plans, coordinating meetings, gathering and tracking action items, analyzing project schedule changes, and helping technical teams translate complex information into clear and actionable work.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of project coordination/project management experience and is highly comfortable working directly in Microsoft Project.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and update Microsoft Project plans.
• Coordinate projects and develop detailed plans to accomplish project goals.
• Facilitate and coordinate project meetings.
• Gather tasks, deliverables, and updates from project team members.
• Track and drive action items through completion.
• Analyze changes to project schedules and plans.
• Perform week-over-week schedule variance analysis.
• Review and analyze project critical paths.
• Identify schedule impacts, dependencies, and potential project issues.
• Break complex project information into smaller, understandable and
  actionable pieces of work.
• Work closely with technical project leads and cross-functional team members.
• Present and explain project information, reports, and findings.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Build effective working relationships with a variety of personalities.
• Support projects operating under tight deadlines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of relevant project coordination or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong hands-on Microsoft Project experience.
• Experience creating, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules.
• Experience analyzing project schedule changes and variances.
• Understanding of critical path analysis.
• Experience coordinating meetings and tracking action items.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take complex information and translate it into clear,
  actionable tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong emotional intelligence.
• Conflict resolution and conflict-management skills.
• Ability to influence others and drive action items to completion.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• PMI or PMP certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and related project tools.
• Experience supporting technical, engineering, manufacturing, or
  product-related projects.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Location: Mossville / Peoria, IL
• Work Arrangement: 100% onsite
• Shift: First shift
• Contract Duration: 12 months
• Travel: Up to 25% domestic travel
• Office environment

• Must be able to work onsite full time.
