Position's Contributions to Work Group
Provides critical coordination and administrative support that enables Project Managers and project teams to execute switchgear / power distribution projects efficiently, maintain project schedules and documentation, facilitate communication across stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery

Typical Day or Week in the Role Project Administration & Documentation (35%)
Maintain project schedules, documentation, action item logs, financial tracking reports, dashboards, and project records. Ensure project information is accurate, organized, and up to date
Project Coordination & Follow-Up (30%)
Coordinate meetings, track milestones, monitor action items, follow up with stakeholders, and help keep projects progressing according to schedule
Cross-Functional Communication (20%)
Facilitate communication between Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Logistics, Customer Service, and Project Managers to ensure alignment on project priorities and deliverables
Reporting & Project Tracking (10%)
Support project reporting activities, maintain status dashboards, track project health metrics, and provide visibility into schedules, risks, and resource utilization
Process Improvement & Operational Support (5%)
Identify opportunities for standardization and process improvements while supporting shipment tracking, testing schedules, and project closeout activities
Interaction with Team
Acts as a key support resource for Project Managers and cross-functional teams, facilitating communication, coordination, and project tracking to help ensure successful project delivery
Team Structure
The Project Coordinator is part of the AES project management organization and works in a shared support capacity across multiple project managers. The role reports through the project management team structure and partners closely with PMs to provide administrative, scheduling, documentation, reporting, and coordination support across multiple customer projects.

Years of experience: Some experience is preferred, but this could be flexible depending on educational background and other skills
Degree requirement: Bachelors

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience maintaining project schedules, action item logs, documentation, and status reports
Ability to track project milestones, deliverables, and project metrics
Experience coordinating activities across multiple teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with project management tools, project documentation, and reporting processes
Basic understanding of project lifecycle management and project coordination practices
